Dear Peter Johann Band Fans and Family:
This is Jim Golinsky, bass player (and wearer of crazy hats) for the Peter Johann Band.
It's been an awesome experience playing bass with the Peter Johann Band for each and every one of you these last two and a half years. You, the fans, are the ones that have made every gig we've ever done worthwhile.
I have made the difficult decision to beginning to wind down my time as bass player with the Peter Johann Band. This was an incredibly tough decision for me to make, as the last two and a half years have been filled with countless great memories, great gigs, and a lot of great times along the way. I will definitely miss the good vibes of this great band. My next musical chapter will be taking me to a brand new, yet unnamed heavy rock project that I and some very good friends have formed, which will kick off this summer. I will still be with the PJB however through the end of June 2012.
I will be playing one last extravaganza with the PJB, at the Schnecksville Fair in Schnecksville, PA on Thursday night, June 21st. I plan to give Pete, Josh, Andy, Jenn, and Dan and all the fans all my best for this last show with the PJB!!
I want to thank each and every member of the Peter Johann Band throughout the years for the privilege to have played in such a dynamic and unique band, and for your great friendship. You guys gave me my first chance and experience to be in a band. I'll be forever grateful for that. I've also learned more about musicianship from you guys than any teacher could ever impart. I also want to thank each and every fan that have come out to see the band play over the last two and a half years. Without your support, we could have never become gotten to where we are.
I am and will continue be a huge fan of the band that gave me my first chance, The Peter Johann Band. I will continue to support Pete, Josh, Andy, Jenn, and Dan in all their musical endeavours. Thanks again guys for two and a half great years!!
Good Times and Good Music to You,
-Jimmy Golinsky
